Celebrating Three Years of Growth and Impact

July marks a significant milestone for Medens Health as we celebrate our three-year anniversary. Looking back on our journey, we are humbled by the progress we've made and the positive impact we've had on the mental health landscape. In three short years we have grown, adapted, and thrived, always evolving to meet the needs of our clients.

When we launched Medens Health at the beginning of the pandemic, we recognized the pressing need for accessible mental health care. Despite the challenges posed by limited access and remote services, we remained steadfast in our commitment to supporting individuals during unprecedented times. With just seven providers, we embarked on a mission to provide quality care to those who needed it most. Our two physical locations became beacons of hope, and we served approximately 40-50 patients.

Today, we are proud to share the remarkable progress we've achieved in just three years. Medens Health has expanded its reach and impact, now boasting an incredible team of 40 providers. Our footprint has grown to include six offices, allowing us to serve a diverse community of over 750 active patients.

We are especially thrilled by the growth of our assessment offerings. Building on our foundation, we now provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, further strengthening our diagnostic capabilities. Our assessment team has expanded to include nine talented individuals who bring their expertise to ensure accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our journey has been witnessing the professional growth of our team. Out of the original seven providers who first joined us, five have achieved their licenses by completing post-graduation clinical training. These individuals are now ready to take on supervisory roles, allowing us to provide even greater support and mentorship to our growing team. Moreover, we have increased post-grad training opportunities and forged a valuable partnership with The Chicago School, enriching our commitment to nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals.

At Medens Health, our impact extends beyond our local community. We have had the privilege of assisting Ukrainian and Afghan refugees, providing therapy to help them navigate acculturation and process their trauma. It is an honor to support these individuals who have served the U.S. government and help them access the support they rightfully deserve.

Opening Medens Health was a testament to our ability to pivot in the face of adversity, and our journey continues to evolve. We remain dedicated to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where accessible therapy is a reality for all. As an extension of our mission, we are expanding our services to assist not only our own therapists, but also other practitioners in the area, aiming to prevent misdiagnosis and promote clarity in diagnosis.

As we celebrate our three-year anniversary, we are filled with gratitude for our incredible team, our clients who trust us with their mental health journeys, and the community that supports our mission. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, but we are far from done. The need for accessible, high-quality mental health care persists, and we are committed to pushing boundaries, exploring new avenues, and creating lasting change in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here's to three years of growth, impact, and a future filled with endless possibilities.
